Many years ago I was shot in the spine coming to the defense of my younger sister and paralyzed. Doctors told me that I would never walk again. It was then I started to fight my disability the best way I could by aligning my thoughts with only positive outlook and mindset which certainly did NOT come naturally in my circumstance. Over time, I was able to strengthen my mind, then my spirit. Once I was able to put positive thoughts into my mind and keep them there positive things began to manifest in my life. Only then, with the right attitude, was I able to summon the faith and courage to walk again. Today I live my life to the fullest and maintain a high level of fitness and health through boxing, weight training, eating clean and always putting my body through tough training to make myself stronger, even though the bullet remains lodged in my spine.
